The Strata Schemes Management Act 2015 deals with insurance requirements under Section 160 through to and inclusive of Section 175. It explains that the owners corporation needs to insure their properties with any approved insurer for any rebuilding or repairing works to be inline that is not worse or less extensive that that part when new.

It also specifies in the Schemes Management Act 2015 that strata agents must obtain no less than 3 quotations for each type of insurance, for this reason we use insurance brokers who look after strata niche, they are very swift and efficient in assisting with insurance claims process.
